Paintings-Portraits of Artists, Writers, Poets.
There are some artists, writers and poets who educated me artistically.
I met some of them in person-Like Amelia Rosselli-and have profoundly changed the way I see the world and the Art.

Paintings-Portrait of Amelia Rosselli, 2012
I was lucky to have known Amelia Rosselli: I understand that in poetry as in art, you have to think seriously about what you do. And if you have nothing to say, you’d better shut up.
The art is silent and continuous research, hard work and continuous exercise.
Amelia Rosselli spurred me to study and understand the musicality of words and visual arts.
We have to find the rhythm of the composition, accentuate the color of the forms, close the circle.
I really like shuffling techniques to achieve a well-orchestrated symphony: watercolors have to sound good with black pen; Acrylic should play well with enamels.
Here some paintings by artists who have influenced my artistic training:Emily Dickinson, a love born in the attic of my grandmother during a summer teen; Sylvia Plath, the poet of my thesis, Joyce Lussu, a partisan blue-eyed blonde, a poet that I met for brief moments and full of precious advices for me, Costantino Nivola, a great artist, my inspiration for some of my works.
In the small gallery also Vivienne Westwood, a fashion designer I am very interested and the unique self-portrait that I made, a watercolour painting, just a joke!
