“In the Studio: Art by MoMA’s Online Learning Community features images of artworks created by students in MoMA’s online course In the Studio: Postwar Abstract Painting, alongside instructor Corey D’Augustines In the Studio demonstration videos.
The exhibition celebrates the creativity of MoMA’s global community of online learners, who explore the materials and techniques of postwar abstract painters through their own artworksas well as, in some cases, interpreting them into other mediums and updating them using digital tools.

The exhibition will be held from January 8-22, 2018 in the The Lewis B. and Dorothy Cullman Education and Research Building of The Museum of Modern Art, New York, and will feature slideshows of images of learners’ artworks, as well as instructor Corey DAugustine’s In the Studio demonstration videos.”
I was a student of MoMA courses in 2012 and 2013 and I learned a lot of theoretical things about art and a lot of practical things, pictorial techniques. The Corey course was great, I learned a lot.
The painting that is now digitally exposed, is a woman in the mirror, and I used the techniques of De Kooning.
